Letters to a Young Poet is a publication that features original photographs of flowers, offering my unique interpretation of Rainer Maria Rilke’s letters, which explore an artist’s creative journey through the lens of my own practice.

For me, flowers are more than just subjects to photograph—they are symbols of life’s delicate, fleeting beauty, ever-changing yet always present. I’ve spent years capturing them, drawn to their soft yet powerful presence.

When I was prompted to create something in response to Rilke’s reflections, I knew these photographs would be the perfect way to express my creative process. Each image, like Rilke’s letters, is a meditation on the nuances of creation, on the beauty of embracing one’s inner world, and on pausing and observing what is often overlooked.
